If you have been sniffing around in the spiritual development world you have probably heard about the Akashic Records before. Most people have, whether they are directly aware of it or not.
Yet, if I were to ask you right now to explain to me what they are you would probably look at me like I had two heads and utter something eloquent like "Huh?"
So, here are three things about the Akashic Records that you can use to answer that question in the future.
I. What they are
You can think of the Akashic Records as a giant energetic database that contains all information regarding the history of your soul, past and present [and future].
For those of you who are Gen-X or older, it would be the equivalent of an old-fashioned library or library catalogue. Akashic Records readings pull information from this source.
They "exist" in higher dimensions and are not bound by the constraints of space and time. But can be accessed through the ethers from anywhere including our 3-D experience.
II. How to use them
The Akashic Records can be used in many different ways. Like any other collection of information their use depends on the intent of the person.
Some people use them to get information about past lives solely for entertainment purposes, others for information to assist with healing or decision-making, etc.
In my practice, I use the Akashic Records to create a Soul Profile that contains information about the unique gifts of your soul. Also, what past life karmic patterns are impacting your present life.
We can then use that information to help you make conscious choices in alignment with who you are as a soul.
III. How to access them
There are a variety of ways to access the Akashic Records. The methods and rules vary greatly; from the exclusively intuitive to the more structured modalities. So different practitioners approach it differently.
